How we rank plans
One value score, the same rules for every provider, live data underneath. This page shows exactly how every ranking on this site is built.
Where the data comes from
Our own database covers the Swiss providers' public mobile offers: prices, data allowances, roaming packages, speeds and contract terms.
An automated pipeline keeps it fresh, and the site is rebuilt after every data update, so what you see matches what providers currently charge. Ranked pages show the date of their snapshot.
The value score
Top lists, provider pages and head-to-heads order plans by a value score computed across price, data allowance, roaming coverage and contract terms. When plans tie, the cheaper effective price wins.
The same formula applies to every provider. Sponsored placements, if they appear, are visibly marked, and plan data and prices are never touched.
Price honesty rules
Providers love a "first month free". We don't let a temporary CHF 0 make an expensive plan look cheap:
- "From CHF X" claims and the Cheap top list use the sustained price: what a plan costs once a time-limited promo expires.
- Lifetime discounts count in full: a promo that never ends is the real price.
- On plan cards the promo price is shown with the standard price struck through next to it, never hidden.
Worked example: First monthCHF 0.00· Every month after CHF 29.95. This is a CHF 29.95 plan, not a CHF 0 plan; it will never appear in the "under CHF 20" list.
What we don't rank
Network quality: we tell you which network every brand runs on (Swisscom, Sunrise or Salt), but we don't run our own signal measurements.
Customer service, shop coverage and phone bundles: real factors we have no honest data for, so they don't influence the score.
Corrections
Prices change daily and no pipeline is perfect. If a plan looks wrong, tell us. Corrections ship with the next data run.
